The Vulcan is two parts: a powersupply with integral cooling fan that
replaces the stock powersupply, and an IDE interface card. The powersupply
has the hard disk installed inside, with a cable running to the interface
board. The interface board has the ROM on it, which contains the
instructions the CPU uses to boot and access the hard disk.

There were separate models for the IIgs and IIe.
