Humour I would think!

The MAC GUI Vault is built to last, and will be around in years to come, so
what are we to conclude from David's comment:)

This is like sayiing now that twitter is here we don't need csa2.

Or like saying now that Windows 8 is here we don't need ProDOS 8.

Or like saying now that M$oft Visual Studio 2012 is here we don't need Aztec
C65.

It costs me a mere couple of hundred bucks a year to keep all the websites I
have online and open for Monkey Business. My idea of drinking these days is
to have a glass of Brandy once a week or once a month. My wife loves to cook
and hates to order-in or go out for dinner, and I like to be paid to catch
fish and write. So by comparison to some older guys, my overhead is
relatively low, and the pin money to keep those sites open is some assurance
that my stuff doesn't get buried with a bunch of old movies.

My sites that relate to the Apple II or Retro-Computing are:

http://www.aztecmuseum.ca/
http://www.appleoldies.ca/
http://www.cpm8680.com/
http://www.c64classics.ca/
http://www.clipshop.ca/

http://www.teacherschoice.ca/ (Under Construction)

A hipster couple could spend what these cost by going out for dinner for a
night or so.

At one time (during the 1990's) my shareware and freeware was viral. My
Screensaver site saw an amazing (for the time) 17,000 hits in a single month
in the mid-90's. One of them which is available in a win32 version today at
http://wwww.clipshop.ca was used as the Windows working client in
http://www.yasara.com/modelsathome.pdf

Today the shareware and freeware links to the old sites that we thought
would be around forever are broken like eggs in one basket.

I should mention that VgaFan was Windows rewrite in C of ART.PAS which came
with Turbo Pascal Version 1. Today RAD Studio XE4 and Delphi XE4 are here
with iOS and more and Turbo Pascal is no more!

Bill Buckels Forever? If I have my way, we'll still be having this
conversation on csa2 30 years from now when every hipster has had their
thumbs amputated after typing on their phones for a decade or so... twitter
or AppleFritter? Facebook or usenet? Smartphones or GodBoxes? Which will
devolve themselves off the planet first?
