Summary of problem:

Two SCSI disk drives being used daily on a IIe for backup. Both disks 
formatted using Copy II+. One of the drives starting "clicking" when 
being used to write to. Tried replacing the drive with another drive 
using same power supply. Tried changing the power supply. Still clicking.

Reformatted the one disk using the SCSI utilities. No more clicking!

Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions!

One think I don't understand. Slot 5, Drive 1 is one drive. Slot 5, 
Drive 2 is the other drive.
