I am not sure yet how many Usenet providers are already carrying the
group but it has been receiving posts for a couple of days and is
working normally.

Google does not have it available yet - reputedly they always take a
while - but I am told that many providers add Big-8 groups like this
one automatically when they receive a control message. So hopefully
most people can see it. Feedback on which providers carry the group
and which do not would be welcome.
