A Liron card will not work with the A9M0106 3.5" drive. That card only
works with the Unidisk 3.5" drive. The 'Apple 3.5" drive' was
originally sold to work on the IIgs and Macintosh only. The IIc+ (IIc
plus) is the only other computer that can use the drive natively.

You would need a SuperDrive card or a Central Point Universal Disk
Controller (UDC) card to use that drive with the IIe.
