[FWIW, I did spend a bit of time looking up 'John Broderick' and found
some info on his Apple II days at least. He had some articles appear
in Assembly Lines and elsewhere, and was apparently active in the
Dallas Apple Users Group early (c.1978). So I'd guess this game he
wrote was pretty early as well - maybe 1980-81?]
I was just browsing through Apple Assembly Lines and found this in the
July 1981 issue:
"Several programs are now on the market, in the $50 price range, which
give you step, trace, breakpoints, stack display, et cetera. "John's
Debugger", from John Broderick & Associates, 8xxx Shxxxxck, Dallas, TX
75238 is one."
