Okay, i forgot that the IIgs has a different video port.  

As for his monitor, yes, it does TV freq, in fact it is basically a CGA/Commdore 1902 type monitor.  Pretty sure it was made for TV production back when.

Okay, I have a 15 pin mac monitor cable hooked to my IIgs, and I made an adapter for monitor.  Well, i haven't finished it yet, lol, bunch of loose wires.   I don't appear to have to use any resistors, so what I did was made a 15pin DB adaptor (mac type) to 9 pin DB, with the correct lines going to the correct plugs.

All the info I used was what the port of the IIgs was and the port of my monitor.
