I know some of the more complex Apple II games seem to 'chug' a bit and I was wondering if that could be fixed with acceleration? On a whim I tried playing Karateka at IIgs speed and it was kind of fun (a little hard though as it was a bit too fast).Maybe something like a turn based RPG could benefit? I'll have to play around and see I suppose.

Wow Rad Warrior actually looks like it's playable now. Renegade get's a good speed bump as well. Rampage looks a little too fast to me (I never through it was slow to begin with though).
