I don't think the LC II will run System 6 either. According to MacTracker
the original operating systems that shipped with the models were:
Mac LC 6.0.7
Mac LC II 7.0.1
Mac LC III 7.0.1
Mac Color Classic 7.1
You could possibly get a newer "classic" Mac and run an emulator to use
System 6 under, but whether the performance is good enough for the games
you want to play is a different question ... OR get an brand new Intel Mac
and run an emulator (although I haven't checked to see if any of those go
back as far as System 6).
