LOL, I have always had that dream as well.  Most of us older computer enthusiasts (I'm 47) probably have the same dream.  :)

After years and years of going through the approvals process, I finally set-up a mini computer museum at my local university a few years ago, with my own kit that I have owned and collected over the decades.  It's a massive quad door locked glass cabinet, located in the IT department's foyer.  It's only stage 1, but if I can get more space, I'll be expanding (got quite a bit more gear to display, want to get interactive displays going, etc).

Your museum sounds like it will be at least 100x the size of mine.  Please do go for it and set it up !!  :)

I'm also be interested in your remakes / clones / etc projects.  Please post messages here when you have any news / updates. :)
