Re: Another cassette: Apple-80 (at least, it is real)
Excellent! Glad you got that, I agonized over that auction for a
while, with the idea to do exactly what you've done (but you've got
much more experience in how to do it right). In the end, I didn't join
the fight, so I didn't raise the price. I did dig around the web a bit
at the time, though:
There's a little Infoworld review of it here:

It cost $17 dollars in 1980

Thanks for making it available, I'm interested to try it out.

Yep, it is real, for once. Readable, digitized and now available at
http://www.brutaldeluxe.fr/, my latest acquisition: Apple-80, an 8080
simulator for the Apple II.
Published by Sybex, developed by Dann McCreary (remember, the author or
Disk-o-tape). I had a discussion with him about his software in October
after my purchase, you will also find his interesting comment about the
software and the "ugly" manual.
I like when those great minds turn back and tell us, the followers, how
hard/interesting/fun that period was. Thank you, Dann!
Antoine
nb. for non-WAV users, the ciderpress/cassettes archives are contain
the 8080 simulator (in the Sybex folder, no kidding)
ps. this is not a hoax, pfeeeewwww
