These Taiwanese clones were sold in almost any electronics store. They all share the same two mainboard types (with 24x 4116 RAM and eight slots, or with 8x 4164 RAM, Z80 and seven slots, where slot 0 holds a ROM board), but every vendor gave them his own name.
In the US Apple took legal actions against clones, but in Europe the clone vs original ratio was around 4:1. Therefore a genuine Apple II Plus is rare here, a clone is not.
