Indeed, it is! My understanding is that S.A.M. is a Votrax SC01 emulator completely done in Software. I think the engine is only 66 sectors, and it should work in ProDOS with no problems. There is documentation at Asimov, I believe as to the operation. The "sayit" program works through a BASIC interface, but writing a ML interface in ProDOS shouldn't that difficult, provided there are no memory tricks in the engine code. 

On a related note, I've been forever trying to find a Votrax SC01 or SC01A software emulator for a modern platform without success. Anyone know of one?
