How to use:
draw your shapes in a Hi-Res Paint program. You need 7 shapes, each shifted 1 pixel. Draw all 7 shapes on screen, save the HGR screen.

Run the BSE disk. Choose option 1(capture). Press 1 to load the HGR image.
use
-w-
asd to resize lasso to surround shape

use
-i-
jkl to move lasso around shape

press 2. Enter shape name to save as. Use FILENAME0 for first shift, FILENAME1 for second shift, etc, all the way up to FILENAME6

press esc to go to the main menu

press 2 to add shapes to table. Enter shape width, height , #of shapes (-1)= 6. Enter FILENAME (without a number) and it will load filename0 to filename6, made an address table, and save them in a table. It asks you in the end for an OUTPUT FILE NAME.

I need to add a menu option to run the DEMO, which will move your shape across the screen. press control-c to get to basic, RUN DEMO, type in name of shape to load (use OUTPUT FILE NAME from above)

it will animate your shape on the screen.

I added a command, |. Using this option after setting XC and YC with option 9 (horiz and vert cursor movement amounts), and then using option 5 (which has you enter the amount of cells).

If the shifts are properly spaced, in sequence either horizontally or vertically, with the XC and YC set properly, they will be animated when you press 6. Once you have the animation playing correctly, you can press | and the program will ask you for a filename. It then saves the shifts as FILENAME0 to FILENAME6. Perfect for the addshapes program, main menu option 2.
