OpenEmulator is being ported to Linux. OE currently provides Apple-1, II, ][+, and soon /// support. OE does a fantastic job of emulating the video of various monitors. While Virtual ][ and AppleWin provide a bit more function, OE *feels* like the real thing. I attribute that to the video output support.

That all said, I think OE would be the best fit for Raspberry Pi and what I'd really like to see is if OE could control the on-board RCA video of the Pi directly bypassing it's video emulation and driving NTSC or Pal directly. If so, that would be quite possibly the ultimate Apple-1, II, /// emulator. I do not know how the Pi is wired or if it is wired for that. And I do not know if it could drive Apple monitors. But what if it could?
