Humm.. I don't remember there being a pause at the title screen.. just a couple seconds then bam into the attract mode.  Also don't remember there being a "load screen" that would come up in the HGR memory as it was loading.  But anyway... I'll dig though my junk and see if I can't find the original disk for ya.
