I see some interesting software possibilities there. It would beinteresting to understand the overhead of communicating through a 6551vs. writing to I/O registers of a module directly. Obviously the mp3board as a serial bridge to these I/O modules makes them much easier tointerface to the Apple II bus - as you proved with this!
