I found an easter egg in the AppleMouse card firmware last evening by
accident. As far as I know, I am the first person to report this discovery,
unless it appears in some magazine unknown to me.
First enter the Monitor with your AppleMouse card in slot 4. Press Control-E
to modify the CPU registers. Modify X to be C4 and Y to be 40.
Then type C4F0G
The screen will clear and the following is displayed:
AppleMouse
Copyright 1983 by Apple Computer, Inc.
Bachman/Marks/MacKay
and you will return to the Monitor.
Bachman probably refers to Fern Bachman, and I suppose Marks refers to
Bennet Marks. MacKay still eludes me.
