What it needs is a good chip reseating. (No, don't drop it.) You can try the cheap way by taking the top cover off and pushing down on all the chips you can get to. But to do it properly, you need to drop the pan and carefully disconnect the connectors in place in order to isolate the board. Then you can get at everything... the memory riser is especially challenging, but again maybe you'll get lucky and the problem will be elsewhere. Just try mushing down on each chip and then powering back up.
