I've not heard of anyone trying this but I strongly doubt whether you
could do any harm to PC or card. I suspect that the warning comes from
conservative hardware engineers who were concerned at what PC
manufacturers might do to the ISA bus speed when faster processors were
produced. In the end, the ISA bus speed was fixed at a maximum 8.33MHz
which was the speed used by the Compaq 386.

Given that your PC already has Win 95 installed, I'd download the PC
MacLan demo and see if that will drive your card. Feedback on success
or failure would be welcome.
