Don't bother. The //gs was not made to support PAL color. I did hear
that Apple Australia retrofitted some //gs computers with a PAL daughterboard
(replacing the color encoder chip under the power supply) to meet the
requirements of a school tender but I have not seen one.
Apple even dropped PAL support from the Platinum //e.
