Re: Major Problems with .SHK files copying to GS PLEASE HELP!!!!

Guys,

Thanks for all of the advice. I finally got everything working.

I made sure that all of the Disks were HSF format before bring them over to
the Mac. The .shk files then copy with no problem. Once on the IIgs, I
unshrink them to a floppy (ProDos of course) which works fine and is
playable.

Some games will allow me to copy to the hard drive and run from there (Deja
Vu, Shadowgate, Arkanoid), but others seem to rely on the disks (seems like
older games like Pirates and Bards Tale).

I am having problems with Dungeon Master, does anyone know if this game
requires a ton of memory? I only have 1.125mb (way too little for a full
System 6 on a HD), and it keeps crapping out on me.

I don't know if anyone remembers my other posts, but I am finally getting a
handle on the Apple II, and while frustrating at first, it is turing out to
be a lot of fun. If not for this newsgroup I would have given up long ago!

Cheers!

Damon
