Re: Apple II Davong Hard Disk Drive Card Adapter

Well, DAVONG made HD systems for a number of popular machines, but the
interface was not the standard WD or SASI or SCSI interface.

I've got a couple of the controller cards that were shipped as part of
their HD systems, and these use components similar to what was used in
the WD 1000-55 and WD1001-55, i.e. the WD1100 chipset supported with
an 8x300 microncontroller.

I've had these boards since the '80's, when I snagged the boxes in
order to get the power supplies, since the controller was of little
use without the host adapter and supporting software.

If you want one, I can ship via USPS priority mail, which will cost
about $3.75. Make an offer, if you like.
