Didn't the Apple /// refuse to start if a power light on the
keyboard burned out? We won't go into dropping the whole thing to
reseat the chips -- which I've seen done to the Apple ][ as well in a
small effort to keep this vaguely on topic. ;-)
The curse of electronics is you can run into bad parts from
*everyone*.
