I'm not aware of Apple branded printers that were fitted with a hard
disk but I have seen disks inside QMS printers and others. Early
LaserWriters (eg IINTX) did have a SCSI port, however, for an external
disk that could be used for storing PostScript fonts. Typical usage
would be in a graphics shop or for Japanese language. Does the IIgs
support downloaded PS fonts or is it limited to the built-in PS printer
fonts?
