You are being fairly misleading by using the statement "Windows 9x." The
various flavors of Windows 9x/ME varied considerably in their stability,
with 95SR1 probably being the worst and 98SR2 being by far the most stable
of the lot. I go for many months at a time without seeing ANY problem on my
98SR2 system. I doubt that there are many Mac users who can better that
claim.
That is not to question your comments about the joys of using OS X. I
haven't seen it, but I fully believe all of the positive comments I have
read about it.
