Convert it to a WAV file (I'm pretty sure, It's been a while).
A regular sound editor or player should play it back.
The WAV file is going to be humungous. The MP3 format is
a compression algorithm that crams a song into a smaller
area on the disk. A WAV file is not compressed.
Will it be worth the effort? I don't know.
How about a 65816 MP3 decoder? Not likely that it will
ever happen. I don't know how much CPU power you need
to play MP3s
