Which goes to show that a C=64, with its crumby serial port, is faster
than many commercial servers running Windows or Unix.  I can only
imagine what a real computer, such as an Apple II, could do.  ;)


Well... not quite, they added a Swiftlink cartridge, which gives the C64 38400

bps through a real 6551 serial chip like there is on the Apple Super Serial. The standard

serial port is handled entirely in software and therefore limited to about 1200 bps.
