To use 2716s you require an adapter which you can make up easily enough.
To make an adapter use two sockets, an upper and lower.
On the upper bend pin 18 up and solder a wire from it to the base of pin 20

on the lower. Then on the upper bend pin 21 up and solder a wire from it to

the base of pin 18 on the lower. You can remove pin 21 from the lower
socket.
Now plug the two sockets together. Use an ohm meter to make sure there is
no contact between the upper and the lower pin 18s. If the pin 1 end isn't
very clearly marked use some nail polish or something to make it
obvious. You don't want to put the adapter in backwards.

On the other hand you can easily load Integer basic from the System Master
disk into any Apple II with 64k or more RAM.
