Wow, that calculates out to approximately 150 baud. (10 bits per byte,
2.5 hrs)
Sorry, I can not speak with regard to why it is not working at the
appropriate speed. It could be a bad solder joint, cable length,
software settings, or serial port issues. (I did not verify your wiring
schematic but if you followed Rubywand's FAQ, it is most likely correct.
I use a Super Serial card in my IIgs with the regular ADT 1.22 program
at 19200b and it takes about a minute per disk. I use a regular modem
cable from the PC and the jumper block on the SSC set to Terminal. You
should try this method instead, especially if you are not using the
57600b of the IIgs port.
SSCs can be found inexpensively on e-bay and elsewhere. (Under $10
including shipping.)
