This is OtherWorld Computing. They sell all of the Sonnet and Xceler8
processor upgrade cards for legacy Macs.

It's not the age of your machine, it's probably the case design and the
fact that yours is a NuBus Mac instead of a PCI type guy. (if memory
serves)

They made NuBus PPC upgrade cards, but a very long time ago. If there was
one for your specific machine, it's probably very hard to come by these
days.
