You answered your own question.....er.........the GS did.

You need a ROM 01 chip swap in order for things to work correctly.

You might get the original System Disk to work (v1.1). Seems mine did when
I first bought one in '87, but I had the ROM upgraded within a week of
having it. (free at the time from Apple).

As to where to find a ROM 01 chip..........?

Anybody in the group help with this........................?
