I'm running Linux for the most part, but I have my GS automated to
create one of the articles. I'm currently using floppies to transfer
the file. I'd like to be able to connect EVERYTHING and make a direct
transfer.

Run netatalk on the Linux system and either using a localtalk PC card, or a localtalk-ethernet hardware bridge an use Appleshare to transfer the files.

Thanks for the info. I'm keeping my eye out for the appropriate hardware you mentioned. I was thinking of using nullmodem cables for the connection. Considering the speed of the GS it wouldn't be too rough on the serial ports.
