Looking for some advice/vendors on how to make a tenet bbs cable. I have an old Apple IIe and an extra cffa card so I want to launch a retro bbs :). I did find a telnet to serial server that some c64 folks use for similar purposes but I think I have cable pinout issues. Any suggestions out there?
I suppose you put one side of the cable into the Apple IIe, but where does the other end go into?
I've been playing with the same thought for a long time, only different: I'd love to see Sweet16 to be able to accept a telnet connection and forward it to a virtual modemport that the ProDOS 8 system (METAL/ FutureVision) will accept.
Mr Brad, seen recently here in csa2, has a setup as follows: Windows PC with cable to Apple IIgs with (Null?) modem to BBS software. On the Windows side he's got software running that will intercept the Telnet calls and forward to the serial port.
