And actually, the "counterfeit" IIc Plus, the Laser 128EX/2 model with
the 3.5" drive and 3x regular Apple II speed, is also considered rare
and worth quite a bit more than the quoted $5 each.

How many people have actually SEEN a IIc Plus and a Laser 128EX/2
with 3.5" drive?  These are not your run of the mill school Apple IIs.

I happen to have a Laser 128EX/2.  Unfortunately, I took it apart a
year ago to install a hard disk drive and it remains in pieces.  I hope
I remember how to put it back together again.  I have not had the time
to follow my Apple II hobby.
