Re: adtn.dmp & dos33.dmp question
The Ctrl-C RETURN did the trick, thanks. I think the reason the ADT text
dump doesn't work is that the tail end of the file is to be executed under
DOS, 'bsave' does absolutely nothing on my IIe.
While in "*" mode, "bsave" prints the contents of registers 000A and 000E
(haha).
And after breaking back out into BASIC, 'BSAVE' simply gives me a syntax
error.
as far as the dos33 dump goes, indeed i do have a blank double-density 5.25
in the drive, and it
doesn't even attempt to access it, i don't hear the head arm at all... just
spins, every single time... I'm starting to think my IIe hates me.
Fortunately, I have a system disk on the way by INCREDIBLY helpful members
of this group, as it looks like the text dump is just not going to work out
for me, ever. Grrrr.
Anyhoo, thanks for the input Michael, and as always all input is much
appreciated, i'd still like to figure out what the heck is going on here.
Cheers,
J
