Greetings gang
I am ready to pull my hair out. I am trying to do a DOS 3.3 Dump to my
IIe via super serial card, to no avail. Before you dismiss this as user
error, I would
like to assure everything is setup properly from end to end. The end result
is gibberish
in hyperterminal or kermit upon 'IN#2', and then machine will not begin
transfer of text
file once i initiate it. Each different attempt nets different gibberish,
but the machine absolutely
refuses to accept the transfer.
SSC settings:
Terminal block set, Standard RS-232 cable
DIP block 1: On, Off, Off, On, On, On, On
DIP block 2: On, Off, On, On, Off, Off, Off
Hyperterm & Kermit settings:
300bps, 8-N-1, No flow control, no line feeds, 40ms ASCII line delay
So, I was wondering if anyone has any common pitfalls as to why this dos
dump may
be failing to initiate.
If all else fails, I would paypal money this second to someone who could set
me up
with a DOS3.3 disk with ADT on it.
ANY input appreciated.
Regards,
Jayson Anderson
