AppleShare 2.0 .. Help!
Hi all;
I have been playing with Appleshare 2.0 (It's the only version I own) and
booting a IIgs off it. I have installed AppleShare Server on a Mac SE and I
have installed the Apple II support. From what I can tell, I have set
everything up, allocating a user and a group to Apple II and setting
prefixes and boot application.
Now, the IIgs boots off appletalk, the dots line up on the upper left of the
screen, you see a Loading ProDos screen and my Mac's name (SuperSE) and a
spinning cursor. After it loads, you can see File Server Logon 1.1 and it
says "Looking for AFP file servers" and it sits there .. and sits there ..
and sits there. What have i done wrong? The manuals to not cater for this
contingiency. What is strange is that it boots off the server and then cant
find it.
Thougts?
