I don't think it has booted off the fileserver. What you've seen is it
starting the boot process from it's own ROM. It's not finding a fileserver,
is my guess, though I think mine times-out in that situation and brings up a
box saying it can't find a server. So maybe you have another problem. I
suggest making an AppleShare boot floppy, and seeing if that works. Check
your cabling too- a printer cable between the server and IIgs printer ports
is best because there is less to go wrong.
