There is a MacIP link layer for Marinetti that was demonstrated at
KFest '99 by Richard Bennett with the help of Tony Diaz. They used my
IIgs connected to Tony's Mac via AppleTalk and then to the internet
via Avila's Ethernet ports in the dorm rooms. My IIgs was connected
to the Mac via a LocalTalk to Ethernet converter that was then
connected to a wireless Ethernet system. This saved them running a
really long Ethernet cable from the lounge to Tony's room. :)
It worked quite well for the demonstration but it wasn't ready to be
released then and as far as I know has not been released yet.
