Tried this as well.  Upon exiting the Control Panel (yes, with Enter on the Quit option)
and re-entering it again, even without a power cycle, the system still does not save my
changes.  It always goes back to the defaults, even if I do not reboot.

I need this stuff to work (and be saved) for running some older DOS3.3 apps, without
GS/OS.  Using the control panel should be the easiest way to do this.  If it is not
working, then I have my doubts that any other option will work, either.

Any other ideas?
