Glen Bredon's update to ProSel was primarily a patch to ProDos (P8 in GS/OS),
which in turn affected the way ProSel (and all other programs run under this
ProDos) behaved. Generally, if you used this update, you should not share files
created or saved under this ProDos (P8) with other users who use Apple's ProDos
(P8).
My (Bev's) Y2K updates to ProSel 8 and 16, which modify the ProSel programs and
not ProDos, can be ordered from me on disk. You get a complete disk containing
all of the ProSel programs and all of the Y2K updates to all the programs.
Unfortunately, my updates are not available on the web, since someone thought
it would be cool to pirate some of my other work (not Prosel-related) on the
web.
Please contact me if you are interested in obtaining the disks. E-Mail
A2MG@aol.com. Please be aware that any e-mail you send may be posted in the
Apple II Mail Group, and be read by others.
By the way, the defrag (optimizer, Beach Comber) part of the ProSel program is
not affected by Y2K issues, so you can use Bredon's "as is."
