Re: What are these old cards?
Hold the phone! I only looked casually at the cards before when I 1st got
them; they
were part of a horde I pulled from the junk Goodwill bins and at the time
other things (like the Transwarp "E" in there (brag brag) took up my
attention.
I just pulled them out and got out my glasses and...
The one with the battery holder IS NOT AN A/D card!
It is marked "Mountain Computer Incorporated c 1981" and in the bottom left:
"Multifunction".
The A/D card (in the other box) is quite distinct from this one.
This does indeed apear to be a multi-function card. I can see what looks like
a 26 pin set (DB25..Printer? SCSI?), next to it a 6 pin set (binary SCSI ID
set? Hey I can dream can't I? ;), a 20 pin set (DB?19? floppy hook up?) a pot
for tweaking something, a chrystal that says 5.0688 , one EPROM with a date of
1979 marked "CPS EPROM 14-00210-C-01 Rev C" , a largish chip with a label over
it with no markings and a scattering of other chips of the usual 74LS273, 367,
173, 32, 126 and the like; about 22 of these..no GALs no PALs or anything else
weird and 4 ground studs scattered across the board. I have not clue one what
this card does.
