If it's an LC, it's a Mac, not an Apple II.  Same company, different
architecture.  The Apple II predates the Mac by about 7 years.  You'll not
find much help here.  Better would be a group with the word mac in the
title, like comp.sys.mac.*  You should ask the Mac folk, but I think the LC
used a standard Apple ADB mouse.  They varied in appearance but as long as
it has the right mini-DIN plug it should work.

That being said, LC are a bit funny in that Apple made an Apple IIe card
that plugged into it.  So, while you  primarily have a Mac, your Mac may
contain an Apple II.  If it does, congratulations!  We can help you with
that, once the system is up & running.  I'll bet the Mac folk wouldn't know
what to do with it....  ;-)
