help with system 6.01

i am sorry to be such a pest with all these questions, but alas another one:

i have downloaded all 7 of the system 6 disks from apple's ftp site to my mac
(7500).

i successfully read and wrote data to a prodos 800k floppy that was created
with my apple 2 gs.

i unshrunk the 7 downloads

i used diskcopy to make the disk images on my desktop of my mac of the 7
unshrunk files.

okay now what do i do?? do i just drag each image to the floppy which has a
name such as data or do i rename the prodos floppy to the same name as the
image and then open the image and select all and copy and paste all the
files/folders into the prodos floppy folder?

okay now once all this is done, what next??  i don't have a hard drive so i am
wondering how well system 6 will run on my apple gs?  rom 1 with 1 meg.
