Just drag and drop the disk image onto the ProDOS volumes or
just copy and drag the files to the ProDOS volume. I had a bit
of a problem on the Mac side since the Finder created a couple
extra files that made the disk too small for the files. I had to remove
some smaller files that were not important to get it to fit on the
Prodos disk.

You don't need a HD to boot GS/OS. It makes it easier but
it is not necessary. I used to run GS/OS off of floppies and it
works just fine.
