The Apple II line will never be forgotten. The Apple II Beginner's
Guide on GabrielMorales.net <http://GabrielMorales.net/Apple2> and other
Apple II websites will make sure of that. BTW- A major update to the
site is coming up. I expect to have it up by early next year, at most.

As for the Apple IIgs- I have great respect for the Apple IIgs and its
engineers. It was the most powerful of the Apple II family. The IIgs
gives you the freedom that the Apple //e does, plus. The Apple //e,
however, is still my favorite. I still own an Apple IIgs, an Apple //e
and a few more Apple IIs...

Don't be sad. The future looks bright for personal computing and the
like. We've progressed enormously in processing power, if not enough
with user interfaces (thanks in large part to a certain OS which starts
with a capital "W"). But make no mistake, ideas and possibilities that
are beyond any previous computing experience are on the horizon.
