Thanks to all for the info.  So an 816 on an "E" board is not a option that 
everyone jumped on back in the day. ..alas... Well the important thing here is 
a Transwarp E  rescued from  a bin at Goodwill (price...50 cents), with a dead 
65c02 was reborn!  
This was part of a bunch of boards from what looks like a small town computer 
store that was dumping older "junque".  His trash...my treasure ;-)
