Re: II GS monitor question

Hi
Thanks for your help. I priced an adapter to use an IBM monitor on a Mac
form our local apple dealer and they are $50. I then went to the dump, and
once again they had no Mac monitors, so i asked the resident electrician.
He said that he doesn't test Mac monitors, but that i was welcome to take
them untested for $2 each. SO i got two near new perfect Mac monitors for
$4. Pretty cool or what.

I have now started to use my Mac LCiii, and they Hard drive is starting to
play up. It won't boot. SO i took the top off of it and the arm won't move
properly when booting, i have to adjust it by hand. Than ionce the computer
does actually boot it works fine, and will restart, but if you turn it off
it just won't start back up with out dismantiling it. Is there a way of
fixing this.

I would also like to use the Mac on the net. It is using system 7.1, so i
need a browser i guess, but do i need any dialing software. Also what about
a modem. It only has the PS2-like ports. Can you buy a cheap adapter so a
normal serial modem can be used with it.

I know this was long, but thankyou very much for reading and helping.
