Well, since my network cards are only 10Mbit, there is still no advantage.

Who said anything about modern, this is an Apple II newsgroup afterall :)
Besides, modern sux, 10Mbit or 100Mbit won't make a bit of difference when
you cram it all onto a 25MHz Mac or a 1MHz Apple II or 10MHz Apple IIGS or a
33.6K modem or 230Kbps AppleTalk. Why buy racing slicks for a chariot !!!

Perhaps you've been "sucked in" to the PC hype, that every thing must be
faster and faster. It's a crock. BTW how fast did you say you can type ?
